Day After Thanksgiving Open-faced Sandwich Deliciousness
Happy Thanksgiving and gobble, gobble, my friends. Wishing you a wonderful day filled with all of your favorites. And when you come up for air tomorrow, perhaps…arrange a few of the very best leftovers on a slice of buttered toast and drizzle with this velvety smooth cheese sauce deliciousness. I used Swiss, but feel free to stir in whatever yummy cheese you have on hand. 
Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter
 - 1/4 cup flour 
 -  1 cup chicken stock 
 - 1 cup half and half
 - 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese
 
Instructions
-  Melt butter in a medium sauce pan over medium heat.
 - Whisk in flour and cook.
 - Add chicken stock and 1 cup half and half.
 -  Whisk to incorporate.
 - Whisk in 1 cup shredded Swiss cheese until smooth.
 - Arrange your favorite Thanksgiving feast leftovers atop a slice of buttered toast and drizzle with this velvety smooth cheese sauce.
