Easiest Ever Peppermint Chocolate Ganache
This Easiest Ever Peppermint Chocolate Ganache requires just three ingredients and ten minutes to simmer, dump and whisk up, and makes the perfect gourmet gift for the holidays. Present it in a pretty jar tied up with a festive ribbon. It's fabulous warmed briefly in the microwave and drizzled over peppermint ice cream or cream puffs. Enoy!
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups heavy cream
- 1 bag (2 cups) Ghirardelli bittersweet chocolate chips
- 2 teaspoons pure peppermint extract
Instructions
- Bring the heavy cream to a gently simmer in a medium heavy pot over medium low heat, watching to prevent it from boiling over. As soon as it it simmering, dump in chocolate chips and remove from heat. Let it sit briefly to allow chocolate to melt.
- Add peppermint extract and whisk until smooth.
- Transfer to two pretty jars. Cover and let cool. Store in the refrigerator until ready to serve or gift.
