PB & HC (Halloween Candy!) Cookies
If you're already fearing the nightmare of having a candy cache on your hands after Halloween trick-or-treating, better get baking, I say! These PB & HC (Peanut Butter and Halloween Candy) Cookies are the stuff of dreams. Whip up a batch of the easiest ever peanut butter cookie dough and top with slices of Snickers, Kit Kats or Reese's mini cups and watch them magically disappear! Pro tip~ Perhaps make a double batch. These go fast!
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup peanut butter
- 1/2 cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon pure vanilla extract
- 1 cup flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- Snickers, Kit Kats and Reese's mini cups, cut into slices
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees and line baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Use electric mixer to beat together butter, peanut butter, and sugars. Add egg and vanilla and continue beating until light and fluffy.
- Stir together dry ingredients and add to butter mixture, beating briefly to combine.
- Use cookie scoop to scoop cookie dough onto parchment lined baking sheet.
- Top each cookie scoop with a candy slice and bake in preheated oven for eight minutes, until lightly golden brown on edges.
- Transfer baking pan with cookies to cooling rack and let cool slightly.
