Just in time to celebrate picnic season, we're serving up Pretzel Roll Picnic Sandwiches to Love~ Fluffy Mustard Sauce slathered on a pretzel roll topped with thinly sliced honey ham and smoked Gouda topped with homemade Poppyseed Slaw. Yum-o!
Make the Fluffy Mustard Sauce~
- Combine egg yolks, mustard, vinegar, water and butter in the top of a double boiler with water simmering underneath and cook until thickened, stirring occasionally.
- Cool and fold in horseradish and Cool Whip.
Make the Poppyseed Slaw~
- Whisk together sour cream, rice wine vinegar, sugar and poppyseeds.
- Toss dressing with cabbage.
To assemble~
- Spread Fluffy Mustard Sauce over insides of pretzel rolls and lay out on work surface.
- Layer gam and Gouda over heels of pretzel buns.
- Top with Poppyseed Slaw and a pretzel crown.
- Slice in half.
