Baby Birds' Nests

Rice Krispies treats but make them with Fruity Pebbles, shape them into tiny nests, line them with toasted coconut "grass" and pop in a few Whoppers mini robin eggs! The ever-so-easy sweet Easter treat you didn't know you needed until now, my friends.

Ingredients

  • 4 tablespoons real butter
  • 10 ounces marshmallows
  • 5 cups Fruity Pebbles cereal
  • 1/3 cup toasted coconut
  • 1 package Whoppers Robin eggs minis

Instructions

  1. In a medium pot over medium heat, melt butter.
  2. Add marshmallows and stir until melted and combined.
  3. Pour Fruity Pebbles into a large mixing bowl.
  4. Pour melted marshmallow mixture atop and stir until combined.
  5. Brush bottoms and insides of a Norpro nonstick 12 Mini Cheesecake Pan with melted butter.
  6. Scoop Fruity Pebbles mixture into pan, then press down with a pestle (from a mortar and pestle set) to create a nest.
  7. Pop nests out by pushing up on removable bottoms.
  8. Sprinkle nests with a bit of toasted coconut and top with Whoppers Robin eggs minis. (Repeat process to use up Fruity Pebbles mixture.)
