Petit Pain au Chocolat

Would you believe me if I told you these Petit Pain au Chocolat pastries require just TWO ingredients? That's right~ Pillsbury crescent rolls + a Chocolove Dark Chocolate Bar!! Cut a Chocolove Dark Chocolate Bar into squares, top each Pillsbury crescent roll triangle with two squares, roll up and pop into a heart-shaped pan, and that's it! (A mini muffin tin would work fine, too.)



  • 1 8-ounce tube Pillsbury crescent roll dough
  • 1 Chocolove Dark Chocolate Bar, cut into squares
  • 1 egg + 1/ teaspoon water whisked together
  • Wilton sparkling sugar


  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
  2. Brush baking pan with melted butter.
  3. Unroll Pillsbury crescent dough onto work surface.
  4. Top each crescent triangle with two squares dark chocolate.
  5. Roll up, brush with egg wash and sprinkle with sparkling sugar.
  6. Transfer to prepared baking pan.
  7. Bake in preheated oven until golden brown, about 12 minutes.

Serve hot and fresh from the oven.
