Holy Guacamole Toast

Let’s make Holy Moly Guacamole Toast, my friends! It’s everything you love about avocado toast and so much more!

Ingredients

  • Pillsbury crescent sheet
  • 1 small can green chiles
  • 2 teaspoons cornmeal
  • 1 avocado, diced
  • 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
  • 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • 1 teaspoon chili powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt
  • 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice
  • 1 tablespoon minced cilantro
  • chili flakes, for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees and spray baking sheet with olive oil baking spray.
  2. Unroll Pillsbury crescent sheet.
  3. Spread 1 small can green chiles over the top and sprinkle with 2 teaspoons cornmeal.
  4. Fold dough sheet in half, then crimp edges to seal.
  5. Bake for 12 minutes, until light golden brown.Let cool slightly, then slice into four rectangular slices.
  6. Toss together~1 avocado, diced, 1/2 cup diced tomatoes, 1/2 teaspoon fresh garlic, minced, 1/2 teaspoon cumin, 1 teaspoon chili powder, 1/4 teaspoon Kosher salt, 2 tablespoons fresh lime juice and minced cilantro.
  7. Top chili crescent rectangles with fresh guacamole, sprinkle with red chili flakes.
